In Bobby Bowden's last game as head coach, the Seminoles defeated the #18 Mountaineers in the Gator Bowl. While West Virginia, the school Bowden coached from 1971 through 1975, wore their yellow over white combo, the 'Noles wore their Garnet over Gold.
